Mini Sephora Haul!

Hola!

When I was in LA, I was having a little shop around in Downtown Disney in Disneyland and I saw a Sephora. As soon as we saw it me and my mum just looked at each other and started giggling like loons, we got so excited! I ended up spending $134 in that life changing store (no surprises there) and thought you people might be interested what I picked up.

Sephora Clear Lipgloss: I use clear lipgloss quite a lot and I had ran out of my previous one and it was right there so I thought why not?

Lady Gaga "Fame" Rollerball: I really like the smell of this fragrance, I would describe it as fruity floral? (again, not good with the describing words. I'm working on it.)  I had been thinking about buying this perfume for a while, I was also in the need of a fragrance to carry around with me in my handbag and for when I travel that could be used in summer or winter and this ticked all the boxes! Into the basket it went!

Eyelash Curlers: When I go round to my friends houses, i'm constantly leaving/taking home someone else's eyelash curlers and when I  saw these bright pink ones, I knew they were the ones for me!

Rosebud Perfume Co. Strawberry Lip Balm: In Sephora, where you wait in line is a bunch of little things to look at (and buy) as you are waiting to be served. I enjoy smelling lip balms so there I was sniffin away at all the lip balms when I picked up this one. The tin was so vintage and cute and I couldn't wait to open it! As soon as I cracked it open, I got a massive waft of a strawberry milkshake scent and I was sold. Welcome to the family lip balm!

Origins "Out Of Trouble" 10 Minute Mask To Rescue Problem Skin: I'm always having trouble with my skin and i'm constantly trying out different masks, moisturisers, scrubs etc in hope to calm it down some what. I've heard only good things about this brand so i've got my fingers and toes crossed that this is the mask for me!

Urban Decay Naked2 Eyeshadow Palette: This wonder palette was the entire reason for my visit to Sephora. I've had my eye on it for so flippin long and when I found out I was going to America I thought "It's now or never!". I was so excited when I bought this I full on bounded up to the counter with my basket grinning like an over excited puppy dog. Yep.

That's it! I hope you guys enjoyed this! I just want to put out there that i'm not at all trying to brag I just thought that since you're all beauty junkies like me, you might have been interested in what took my fancy and whatnot, thats all. Have a great weekend!

Hey Hey to USA!

Hola! or should I say...Aloha!

As you may or may not know, for the past 17 days I have been off prancing around various parts of America! aahhhh! I had the most amazing time and thought I would share with you a few of the photos and give you a mini run through of what went down in hamburger-a-go-go land, what do you think? (well it doesn't matter because i've already written this blogpost so you're gonna get it whether you like it or not!)

The Disney Castle where all the princesses live.

After two long flights and a good night's sleep (and a day at Venice Beach), we decided to pop into the happiest place on earth, DISNEYLAND!! Now, i'm a massive Disney freak so when you put me in an environment with Disney songs constantly playing over loudspeakers everywhere and Disney characters walking around and REAL LIVE DISNEY PRINCESSES you know some serious shiz is gonna go down! My favourite ride was The Little Mermaid one and I was singing along the whole time and everything was so amazing! I just wanted to break out of my little clam shell and sing and dance with Sebastian and his fishy orchestra! I had the most magical three days at Disney and California Adventure and have now decided that my life goal is to become a Disney princess (preferably Belle, but Ariel or Cinderella is also fine) in Disneyland and fall in love with my prince charming.

The famous Universal Studios globe.
After the whole Disney shindig, we had a day at Universal Studios which was super awesome. We went on the Transformers, Jurassic Park and The Mummy rides which were all absolutely phenomenal! We also did a studio tour where you go on a trolley/tram type of thing and they take you around and show you all these sets of really cool movies! We drove through Whoville and there was this amazing King Kong stimulation right at the end! After the park shut we did some shopping in the stores outside it and there was this shop called It's Sugar which was filled with every sweet and chocolate imaginable! I bought soooo much in that store, oh man!

Our hotel the "New York New York" (yep, thats a rollercoaster you can see there)

We then jumped into our rental cars and prepared ourselves for the big ass road trip from LA to Las Vegas for two nights! We just went to see it what it was like and we ended up having a pretty good time. We only had one day there so we split up (family wise, I didn't go wandering off in Vegas by myself) and headed over to the South Premium Outlets to do a spot of shopping! The outlets were flippin amazing, they was so big! It took us 15 minutes to walk from one end to the other! My family bought tonnes from the Nike outlet and a few bits and bobs from other places but everyone was getting tired and cranky so we ended up heading back to chill by the pool and get some food. We went to a restaurant called Bubba Gump's and I swear to you, I have never tasted better calamari in my whole entire life.

Waikiki Beach

After our last night in Vegas we jumped on a plane to Hawaii for our holiday from our holiday. We spent nine days there and it was so lovely and relaxing I did absolutely nothing the whole time, now thats my kind of holiday! I enjoyed the amount of sleep I got thoroughly and I was considerably less pissed off all the time (I had to get up at 6:30 every morning in LA. I was one unhappy chicken). It was mums birthday while we were there so my family got to go on a helicopter trip around the island...with the doors off! eeeeeek!! The ride was super amazing and we saw turtles and whales and the valley where Jurassic Park was filmed! On our last evening we hopped on a boat for a little float around the south side of the island which was really gorgeous and relaxing. Then we woke up early, got in our comfy clothes and were off to the airport to come back home! I was actually quite happy to be coming home, I missed sleeping in a bed to myself!

All in all it was the most magical experience i've had so far and I wanna go back and do it again! In hindsight, i kinda wish we had got to do more of LA...we only did Disney and didn't get to see much of actual California.

Have you gone on a family holiday overseas? Where did you go? Let me know!

Autumn/Winter Wants

Hola!

Autumn is upon us and I thought i'd share with you all a few (expensive) things I have my eye on to welcome into my fabulosa life!
Autumn/Winter Wants

Topshop sweater
I've been on the lookout for some new jumpers as mine are all ratty and at the end of their days and every time I go into topshop, this catches my eye! hmmmm I wonder why....*winkey face*

American Apparel highwaisted jeans
I've heard great things about this pair of wonder jeans. 'Nuff said.

American apparel pants
arg! WHY SO EXPENSIVE!? I see these on so many people and they're such a me item of clothing and I would wear them so much and these must be in my grasp ASAP.

Converse high top sneaker
These are just so classy and gorgeous and go with absolutely everything! I currently own the all black ones and I'm never out of them so it's safe to say these would be well loved if I owned them!

Zara bag
This bag is just so perfect. You can fit everything you possibly want in it ( which is what every Mary Poppins needs) and...wait for it... it has a padded laptop section!! I'm sold!

ASOS pom hat
One can not simply have too many pom pom beanies, and this one is simply adorable.

Urban decay eyeshadow
I originally wanted the Naked2 palette but I looked it up and it's a tad out of my price range so i've decided to settle for the next best thing!

Rimmel concealer
Everyone in the blogosphere (except Fleur) has been raving about this concealer and I really want to give it a whirl! I own the foundation and I absolutely adore it so I have very high hopes for this lil' concealer!

Rimmel Apocolips Lip Lacquer: I'm not sure why there's no proper link to this, I had to go find it on asos so bare with me here! Again, everyone in the blogosphere has been raving about this new Rimmel product and I just can't wait for them to hit the Aussie shelves! Knowing my obsessive nature, i'm probably (definitely) going to buy all the shades. Yep.

Ok so that's it! The countdown to my big american holiday is officially exactly 2 days! eeek!! I am so bloody excited I can hardly contain myself. I'm going to try and purchase most of these items while i'm over there but i'm not too sure how much shopping time there's actually going to be (i'm going with loads of my family who are mostly boys) so fingers crossed!

Do you have your eye on anything special for the upcoming season? Let me know!
