Ombrè Hair

Hola!

Ahh, here we are at the end of the blissful (and in my case stressful) two days we humans like to call the weekend! It was a kind of a lazy yet productive (?) one for me as all i did was sit on my ass at my desk and do assignments while my darling mum brought me in endless cups of tea *sigh*. Anyways, as i'm heading off to hamburger-a-go-go land (America) in just under two weeks, I thought I should get my ombrè re-done so the photos would look extra swish and exotic.
my ombre hair! I apologise for the crappy quality of this photo and my lack of makeup I was simply too excited about my new hair and had to take the photo right then and there! (that rhymed! aah!)

My mums best friend is in fact a hairdresser and has been doing my hair since day 1 which is super convenient and lovely so I popped on over on Saturday morning after my eyebrow wax (ooer) and got my hair done! I asked for it to be blonder than the last time and i'm so glad I did, i really like the way it turned out. It looks quite fab, if i do say so myself!  I won't be getting this done again for a long time now as I fear my hair will snap off/fall out from all the bleaching its gone through, poor thing. I'm just gonna enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Aaaaannnddddd i'm done. That's all from me, it was only a short post today as due to my over excitement I could not wait another whole week to share with all 2 of my followers (yipee) my new do! See you all on friday for a longer more planned out and sophisticated (hopefully, i cannot plan my mood for these things) blogpost.

Pip pip!

Topshop Cream Blush- Morning Dew

Hola!

Happy Friday! We've all toughed it through yet another week of our busy lives, I think we deserve a round of applause! So as you all know, Sunday was St Paddy's Day and me and my chum Rosie (you can find her blog here) decided to head off into the city for a spot of shopping. Although I had hardly any mula and the day started off on a bit of a downer (I won't get into that), we had a fabulous day and I ended up picking up this gorgeous blush from my all time favourite store, Topshop!

Topshop Cream Blush in Morning Dew- $12

I bloody love Topshop's makeup line. Everything has such nice packaging and lovely names and this cream blush was no exception! I had high hopes for this little product and I was completely satisfied. I can only describe this colour as a bright rosy pink? (i'm not good with describing words so bare with me) and is the perfect colour for a gorgeous naturally flushed look. It would be absolutely perfect for the spring time with its beautiful colour and the suiting name of Morning Dew, which is a tad unfortunate as summer here in sunny Australia is 22 days over and we're starting to get into that cool autumn weather now. Its also super pigmented and a little bit goes a long way so you definitely get your moneys worth! My only problem with this otherwise spot on product is the packaging. I love the look of it with the classic Topshop scribble-spots I like to call them and its perfectly sized mirror, but it is nearly impossible to open and when I do eventually pry the stubborn lid open, I get my fingers all in the product and ruin its fresh and new look and also, my poor nails. This may only be the case with mine though, I don't currently own any other Topshop blushes to compare this to. Other than that tiny flaw, I am so happy with my new addition to my ever growing makeup collection and at $12, it doesn't break the bank so I can go out and buy more guilt free! I can't wait to add some more of these cream blush wonders to the family.

Are you a cream blush gal? or do you prefer powders? Let me know!

Pip pip!

Cath Kidston Lilac & Lavender Hand Cream

Hola!

So this darling little hand cream fell into my grasp when my gorgeous nana decided to spoil me bless her. I'm not going to lie, when somebody hands me anything Cath Kidston I'm not gonna refuse!

I think the signature Cath Kidston hand cream packaging with its classy metallic lid and floral design is absolutely beautiful and makes me feel quite prim and proper! The hand cream itself is so thick and luxurious and does its job wonderfully. Its quite thick but not thick enough that it leaves your hands feeling all slimey and you feel as though you can't touch anything for 15 minutes which I absolutely loathe. This little piece of heaven makes my hands so incredibly moisturised and soft and they feel as smooth as a baby's bottom afterwards! I feel as though nothing could ever be as good. The smell is to die for and is exactly as the label says, lavender and lilac, If i could buy everything with this scent, I definitely would! I usually apply this 1-2 times a day and that seems to be enough unless it's winter or I have particularly dry hands or something. This is a staple in my hand bag and as soon as I run out I'm going to race out and grab a new one, no matter the price! You can buy Cath Kidston hand creams here ranging from $9-$16.

What's your holy grail hand cream?
